12 And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.
Devin and I were reading our scriptures the other night and we read this particular verse.. it happens to be one of my favorites. I'm so thankful for the foundation we have and our testimonies of Jesus Christ. I think that Satan has tried to drag us down but b/c of the gospel in our lives we are still standing and loving live.
Last night we were talking about what we have done since we have known each other a little over 4 years(mind you we were married 3 months after knowing each other) so here is the list.. brace yourselves!
Lived in 7 different houses (and one more come April after our house sells)
8 different jobs (every time Devin started a new job it was always better, we have finally found one that will be long term)
2 kids
1 cat
more debt than i am willing to share (thank goodness for tax money that has helped us almost pay it off)
5 different schools
5 different cars
gained more weight than i am willing to share (we are working on it!)
moved from one extreme state to another, weather wise anyway
been to NM, UT, ID, Rocky Point Mexico, NV, and CA
bought a house and sold a house (well we have an offer on the house that is)
I know there were more when we were talking. It just goes to show how blessed we really are. I'm so thankful for a loving Heavenly Father that knows our needs and what we can handle.

Lovely, I am thankful of your "sure foundation."
It's great to hear how you all are doing. What sewing machine did you end up getting? Good luck with the projects. I just bend a needly last night but didn't realize it until today. I guess sewing in the semi-dark istn't a good idea! :)
I sure love you! A new house is SO EXCITING! As is a new sewing machine! That's so fun. I didn't knwo you were doing school full time. That's crazy. Good luck with everything! You always have a way with laughing along with life... so you'll keep doing great, I'm sure :)
Great post! What kind of sewing machine to do you have? I am looking into getting a new one. Also, I forgot to answer your question from a long time ago...I use PhotoScape to edit my pictures. It is free and easy to use. I really love it.
oh sis....i feel the same way some times...but then again, when one door closes, another one opens....sigue firme, sigue adelante! :) luv ya!
