some happenings

Devin got a tent for his b-day, he camped out with the kids a couple times in the backyard..they loved it, despite what Rylie's face looks like she loved it the most!

before

after

I got a new haircut too!

Took the whole family to the dentist.  No cavities!!  Rylie freaked out and Ezra did great.

these two are crazy!

conference weekend

My Conference Board, I loved it and the kids did too.

stringing Temples while listening to talks.

to top off our Conference weekend, in-between sessions we canned 20lbs of chicken with the Paynes.  We are so blessed to have them as friends.  Corynn has taught me to be a better homemaker.  I will probably have to dedicate a whole post on how awesome she is after we move, because I will miss her so much.

and when the kids weren't being entertained and listening there were destroying toy rooms!

We loved spending Conference weekend with the Paynes.  And because of the government shutdown the boys didn't' have drill that weekend so we actually got to enjoy it with the men, which we normally don't b/c of drill.   One of my favorite things of the weekend was when talking about salmonella and the chicken Corynn confessed that she is terrified of it, but when I asked if she ate cookie dough her response was "oh, well yeah that's totally worth it"  So apparently if you are going to get it, get it while eating raw cookie dough :)

2 months old!

I can't believe that Mia is almost 3 months old!  I don't want to forget things about 2 months.
Mia loves to sleep a lot still, which I don't mind :)  She is a such a happy baby.  She smiles and coos and is very serious and observant.  When she smiles it takes up her whole face, it melts my heart.  At about 6 weeks she started rolling from her tummy to her back. I told the doctor this at the 2 month appointment and she didn't believe me, but Mia showed Dr. Lipp just how strong she is and impressed her.  She was just shy of 12lbs and 23inches.  She seriously is so strong, always trying to stand up and always wanting to look up and keep her head strong.  She loves to be rocked and loves "If the Savior stood beside me" and "A Child's Prayer"
Love her!

Good Sweetie.

Crazy Baker Kids

I pulled pictures off my camera, here are a few to show what we have been up to.  There are a lot more of Rylie...that is because she is a ham and also since Ezra is at school all day, she gets more pictures taken :)

getting our pedicures with Sweetie.  I am creating a sassy little girl!

She did not like the rags in her hair.  Sweetie made her look "ugly"

Rylie had/is having a hard time with baby Mia getting all the attention, so we went out and had an ice-cream date...I have about 10 pictures of her posing during this trip..she is funny.

The guard had their family day.  Rylie liked the guns.  Ezra liked the bounce houses.  I liked getting out of the house!

Snake face!  His hair is soaked in sweat, he seriously only sat down for this the rest of the time he was running around and in the bounce houses.

I told Rylie to look cute, this is what she gave me.

Rylie started dance.  She loves it. This is her evaluation of the class:
"ballet is pretty, tap is awesome, and mats (tumbling) are fun!"

She loves to help me out in the kitchen.

She also loves to get dirty and play in mud with the boys.

her hair is getting so long and fun to play with these days.

I need a better picture, but Ezra would not stay still for his karate picture.  He kept wanting to kick which made the picture blurry.  He loves karate, training to be a power ranger.
